Tribe 6U's Rock Their First Practice!

That was a blast!

Thanks for coming out today. Big 'congrats' to Brooke and Parker for their first day with the Tribe; you two looked like future stars out there today. And great to see that our returning 6U's remembered everything from spring. We had a solid practice and a fun game.

Looking forward to next weekend. Remember, we'll be on Joan Kelly field at Riverview.

Always room for more players, so bring your friends!

Oktoberfest 2019

Oktoberfest 2019 is one month away!  Saturday September 21st

As many of you know, Oktoberfest is a major fundraising event for High Sierra Lacrosse and for the Truckee Tribe

SVNC (Squaw Village Neighborhood Corporation) and Squaw Valley provide the venue, High Sierra Lacrosse and SVNC provide the leadership, but it’s the volunteers that make the event a success.

Please block off Saturday September 21st in you calendar as we will need volunteer help.

Last year we had roughly 35 volunteers and we will again need a solid showing.

Many of the key volunteer roles require adults over 21 (by law), but we will have volunteer roles for kids as well.

The event itself runs from Noon to 6pm, but there will be set-up and break down.

As we get closer to the event, we will learn more about the details of the Tribe’s role, but it is safe to assume we will again be staffing a ticket sales booth and a beer distribution tent.

Please let me know of you availability for this key fundraising event. You can sign up on our website on the volunteer tab, or by sending me an email

In 2018, the Truckee Tribe received over $6,700 for our volunteer efforts!  This event is a massive fundraiser for our club and for youth lacrosse in the region, so please find a way to help out.

Age Verification

If you have registered your child to play, please spend a few minutes and age verify though US Lacrosse

Why Age Verification

US Lacrosse is working with youth leagues throughout the country to ensure that players are grouped appropriately to keep players safe and to help make competition fair.

Secure and Easy To Use

The new US Lacrosse age verification system is secure and easy to use. Age verification uses SSL technology, the standard for transmitting sensitive information online.

Steps to Verify the Age of Your Child

  1. Scan or take a photo of your son or daughter's birth certificate or state-issued ID.
  2. Click the button below and log into your account, not your child's.
  3. Upload your scan or photo to our online system.
  4. We'll review your documentation, record the birthdate in our system and then permanently delete your uploaded document.
  5. You'll receive a confirmation email, and you’re done. This is a one-time process that is good for the lifetime of your child’s membership.

Verify Now

You can also take a pic of your child's Birth Certificate with your mobile phone, and email that picture to:
