Lacrosse on TV !

Hello Truckee Tribe Members,

It has been a trying past several months.  California continues to deem youth sports as high-risk, and as such most activities have been curtailed.  We are not yet sure what our Fall Ball program will be, if anything. The Board is discussing the feasibility of running camps during the fall season, and if things improve, possibly a more regular program.  Rules are different in Nevada, and the league (HSLL) is hoping to pull-off a spring style season this Fall.  Under current California regulations, our club would not be able to participate.  While we are caught in the holding pattern, the Tribe wanted members to know there is Lacrosse to watch on TV!  The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is in the midst of their abbreviated and condensed season, and most of the games are televised on NBC or its affiliated stations. The full schedule is here.  Please watch lacrosse on TV, find a wall or bounce-back to practice on. (The Tribe has a bounce-back at Riverview on the lower field for anyone to use, and 2 goals are unlocked for use as well.)  Please practice and stay healthy!

Air Quality Policy
by posted 09/05/2018

Our Air Quality Policy is posted on this website, under Tribe Club / Safety & Health / Emergency Action Plan. It is provided, below, for convenience:

Air Quality - An AQI in excess of 150 will cause all Tribe sanctioned outdoor practices and games to be canceled.

AQI reading can be found here:

Head coaches and Tribe board officers will determine if play or practice is safe

Additionally, coaches will keep us posted on their assessment as practices approach. In all cases, we ultimately leave the decision of whether or not a child should participate to the discretion of the parent. Air quality can vary within Truckee, conditions are subject to change, and each player's circumstances are unique.

Let's hope for clear skies for many reasons.

Tribe Vibe
