Fall Ball Lacrosse 2021

Fall Ball 2021 will be skills, drills, and fun forms of conditioning. We may look to schedule some games or scrimmages, but this is TBD.

The season will run from Tuesday, Sept. 7, through Thursday, Oct. 21.  Roughly 7 Weeks.

Boys will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 4:15 PM to 6:00 PM.*

Girls will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:15 PM to 6:00 PM.*

All practices will be at Meadow Park.


Fall 2021 Safety Protocols Summary


Truckee Tribe Air Quality Policy

AQI of 125 or above - all activities cancelled.

Head coaches and Tribe board officers will determine if play or practice is safe by 3pm.

AQI of 125 or above is UNHEALTHY: All practices are cancelled or moved inside if a location is available. Games will be rescheduled or cancelled. If the AQI is less than 150 and descending, a game may begin if the referee present believes the AQI will continue to drop and the game can be completed safely.

AQI is 100 - 124

Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups:

Practices will proceed, however, coaches will limit and control running and conditioning and check the AQI periodically to stay updated on changing conditions. 


AQI is less than 100

All activities are OK.

Truckee Tribe Fall 2021 COVID -19 Policy

Unvaccinated Coaches & Officials need to be masked.

  • Unvaccinated Players need to wear masks during water breaks, group huddles, on the sidelines, etc.  Players DO NOT need to be masked while actively training or playing.

  • Players will not be allowed to share water bottles and encouraged to use hand sanitizer before and after each event.

  • Spectators are advised to wear masks and practice social distancing.

  • Return to Play protocol can be found on our website in case of COVID exposure or a positive test.


Truckee Tribe Lightning Policy

“The bottom line is that if you hear thunder, you need to get inside immediately, ”Lightning can strike up to 10 miles from a thunderstorm, which is about the distance that the sound of thunder can travel and be heard. All thunderstorms produce lightning, and each lightning strike is a potential killer.”

  • If you hear thunder or see lightning stop event immediately

  • Take Shelter in safe location – enclosed building or cars is safest option

  • Event cannot resume until 30 minutes after last boom is heard or strike is seen
